Business Development Associate (Part Time)
We are currently seeking a Part Time Business Development Associate to recruit new business in the small and medium size business sector. Sales territory is Savannah, GA, Hilton Head Island,SC, Bluffton, SC, Beaufort, SC and Charleston, SC.
This position entails developing and directing the sales efforts for new client target acquisition within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will have strong business contacts in the territory assigned and should have the ability to close transactions quickly.
Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Research and analyze market conditions and opportunities in assigned territory and business sectors.
- Identify potential leads independently (or with others) through networking, cold-calling, trade shows, public speaking, and/or other sources in the assigned sales territory/geography
- Develop relationships with potential customers and partners through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking, telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, and/or other business or social gatherings.
- Generate client awareness and preference for Sona Digital Group and its services. May include developing/sending promotional material, authoring articles, presenting in business forums, business associations, etc.
- Identify and close specific sales opportunities within target companies.
- Build/create business proposals for prospects or industries and present these to prospective customers.
- Recommend which opportunities Sona Digital Group should pursue using criteria such as highest probability of winning, profit potential, etc.
Work Experience
- An entrepreneurial and innovative spirt required. Sales experience helpful, but not necessary for the right person.
Location: Bluffton, SC
Position Type: Part Time (max 25 hours/week)
Pay Rate: Based on Experience + Commissions
Schedule: Flexible as customers require with the ability to work from home. Must be available for work related meetings, networking events and business functions. May require work outside of normal business hours.
